This peaceful riverside home, located in Newland, has direct access to the Linville River and is conveniently situated with High Country Adventures all around. A twenty-minute drive brings you to the entrance of the Linville Gorge Wilderness Area, home to the breathtaking Wiseman's View, also known as the Grand Canyon of North Carolina. Hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway, just under ten minutes from the cabin, for scenic overlooks and numerous hiking trails. Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, and the beautiful Linville Winery, offering outdoor seating and live music, are only a few minutes away. Guests of all ages will love Banks Creek Barn, six minutes down the road, with 80 acres of outdoor family fun, including a taproom and trout fishing ponds. Be in Banner Elk in 30 minutes for mountain biking, skiing, snow tubing, and ice skating at Sugar Mountain Resort or white water rafting, ATV rentals, and the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster adventure park. Winter enthusiasts will find Jonas Ridge Snow Tubing Park only ten minutes away. Are you an APP Football fan? Kidd Brewer stadium is only 35-40 mins away.

The main floor living room, with comfortable couches and rocking chairs situated around the gas log fire place and mounted tv, flows into the spacious well equipped kitchen providing plenty of space for guests to enjoy time and meals together. The covered deck overlooks the flowing river where you can relax in the hot tub or grill and dine outdoors. There is a queen bedroom on the main level, an open loft with a queen bed, and a queen size pull out sofa in the living room providing sleeping for up to six guests. A separate lower entrance leads to a game room with a pool table and ping pong table for hours of fun when not taking advantage of the direct river access.
There is an outdoor wood burning fire pit for evening marshmallow roasts and lots of outdoor space to enjoy with family friends and pets, plan to bring your own firewood or pick some up at a local convenience store. Mini-splits keep the home comfortable no matter the season, and there is tv programing on the tv in the living room for viewing options. Spacious parking for up to two cars lead to a flight of steps up to the front covered entrance. A full size stackable washer and dryer are available.
